02Our background

It started with one paper mill in Penang.

Muda Holdings Berhad pioneered the paper milling and paper packaging industry in Malaysia with its first paper mill in Penang in 1964, and its first corrugated plant in Petaling Jaya in 1971. The company has since grown to become a leading integrated paper manufacturer in the country.

Produced from recycled waste paper, our range includes high-grade industrial brown paper, corrugated boards, corrugated boxes, multi-wall paper bags and PE-laminated paper. We also produce machine-glazed paper from virgin pulp.

These papers serve retail, furniture, food & beverage, electrical and electronics and many more industries — and with recycled fibre as our main raw material, every tonne we make keeps paper in use for longer.

One of the largest paper-mill operations in Malaysia by capacity, serving local and overseas customers.

Our mills make industrial-grade paper from recycled fibre — Test Liner, Corrugated Medium, Laminated Chip Board, Core Board, Grey Chip Board and Yellow Wrapping Paper — plus machine-glazed paper from virgin pulp. The Muda Board brand is recognised internationally.
